Over my last 12 months with the
Kansas City Monarchs, my videos earned

Over 27,000 views

I served as the primary content creator on the Kansas City Monarchs' TikTok feed, which is one of the most active and popular TikTok accounts in minor league baseball. This video highlights how the Monarchs get their players, and why they're so fun to watch!

Negro Leagues Baseball Museum

One of the most rewarding aspects of my time with the Kansas City Monarchs was our partnership with the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City. I created regular social media videos for the museum as part of our partnership. This video explains how the Monarchs' owner's Depression-era gamble on night baseball changed the game forever.

Over 350,000 views

This is one of my favorite projects I've been a part of. In April 2025, I traveled to Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas and spent an afternoon with historian George Pettigrew to talk about the Buffalo Soldiers and their connection to baseball history. I gathered video on-site with Morgan Kolenda and edited the video myself.

Newsy Video - Written, Anchored and Edited

During my nearly three years working for Newsy, a Scripps, LLC-owned digital newsroom, I created over 200 videos. Many of them, like this one, were written, anchored, and edited by myself. In this video, I take a lighthearted look at the eccentric rules the most famous golf club in America is known for.

Highlight video - Written, Anchored and Edited

I created engaging videos every day while working for the American Association during the 2021 and 2022 baseball seasons. This is an example of my cornerstone project, the AAPB Whiparound. The daily highlight show showcased the very best of the league, and had players eager to see their own highlights earn a spot. This example is from the playoff race in September 2022.
